Goal
Refining the surface of your skin to produce a vibrant, fresh complexion.

Who is a candidate?

  • People who would like to reduce clogged pores, even out pigmentation, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, and reduce mild acne.
  • Anyone who wants a non-invasive, non-surgical skin conditioning program.
  • Those with sensitive or heavily pigmented skin, or have damage from electrolysis or facial irradiation.

Procedure description

  • Also called Parisian Peel, Power Peel, Dermapeel, and Salt A-Peel, microdermabrasion is usually performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia.
  • We use microscopic salt crystals that are safer than aluminum oxide crystals and are effective without risking bruising or red streaking.
  • You can resume regular activities immediately, and your skin will feel soft, fresh, and smooth after each treatment.
  • Generally, seven treatment sessions spaced every 7-14 days are recommended.

Other options
We often combine microdermabrasion with topical treatments like glycolics, vitamins, and bleaching agents, which can penetrate more effectively in conjunction with microdermabrasion.

"Many people are disappointed to see how time, the sun, and the environment takes a toll on their skin. Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive technique that speeds up the skin cell renewal process and helps give you the healthy complexion you’ve always desired."
